Boulder Mountain Bike Alliance Bookkeeper

BMA's looking for a bookkeeper to come on board to help out with some basic bookkeeping services. The bookkeeper will need to have a working knowledge of Quickbooks Online accounting software and general accounting principles. Mount Evans Bob Cook Hill Climb Race Director - Team Evergreen

SUMMARY
Team Evergreen Cycling desires consistent, professional management by a Race Director capable of growing Team Evergreen races. This position manages one of the country’s oldest and most prestigious races—the Bob Cook Memorial Hill Climb. The race is often referred to as simply: The CLIMB. Team Evergreen Cycling has four (4) years of documented event management is available.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Budget development and management: meeting specific financial targets
2. Race Promotion
3. Event timeline and contingency plans
4. Permitting of events
5. Collaboration with Colorado State Patrol, Idaho Springs, Clear Creek County,
US Forest Service, Clear Creek School District, EMS, Denver Parks and
Recreation and others
6. USAC / BRAC activities
7. Sponsorship, Registration, Volunteers, Insurance, Public Relations
8. Race Results: fast and accurate
9. Scheduling/coordinating after race party

QUALIFICATIONS
Good communication and management skills are required. Experience with competitive athletic cycling
events a plus. Ability to problem solve creatively and under pressure required.
1. Experience managing a USAC / ACA race
2. Familiar with all USAC and ACA rules
3. Familiar with application and filing of permits to various agencies
4. Experience with on-line race registration management

Opening a new shop in Golden, and looking for a full time mechanic that is proficient in both disc brakes and mountain bike suspension systems, being able to come from behind the bench to sell bikes is a huge plus. 3+ years is a minimum requirement for the position.

Job Description:
We are seeking four new staffers (two separate teams of two individuals each) to help grow our PeopleForBikes.org (PFB) pledge base even further in 2013. The Seasonal Events Crews coordinate and lead all seasonal events for the PFB campaign. We are seeking to represent PFB at multiple events throughout the United States. One team will be based mostly in the western half of the country, and the other team will serve events on the eastern half. This position is seasonal, with employee status, along with a set compensation of $12,500 per person for the duration of the project (roughly six months). While on the road, most expenses will be absorbed by Bikes Belong (within a daily per diem guideline). Start date for part-time work (hours are flexible) is March 1, 2013. Must be available full-time beginning April 1, 2013. Work hours from May through September require weekends, with driving and occasional events on weekdays. A new Volkswagen PeopleForBikes.org branded vehicle will be provided for transportation to and from events.

TIG Welder - Generic Cycles - ** Filled **

We are a bicycle frame manufacturing company in Denver that is in need of a TIG (GTAW) welder. We work steel and titanium alloys and are looking to expand into aluminum in the future; all materials are thin (0.035" typical). The work is by nature very high tolerance, high strength, and aesthetically based.

What we're looking for:
Familiarity with industry best practices for cleanliness and technique
Comfort welding all alloys of steel, and preferably titanium and aluminum
Strong, nice looking welds!
A welding test will be required
