Slipstream Sports is hiring for the eCommerce Customer Service and Sales Manager position working for the official online store of Team Garmin Sharp. The team’s online store offers a complete line of team issue products from various sponsors including Garmin, Cervelo and Castelli among others. Working for the online store provides a unique vantage point from which we can help fans learn about and purchase highly technical team gear throughout the year.
Our ideal candidate is someone who has a passion for professional cycling and understands the excitement that fans get from following our team throughout the race season. We have a casual workplace and flexible hours that require a willingness to work independently and execute projects and tasks without daily supervision. We’re also looking for someone with “can do” attitude that isn’t afraid to start new projects that may or may not be outside of their daily duties. Initially this position will work on a part time basis, but has the opportunity to grow into a full time position for the summer of 2013 and beyond. This position will report to the Director of eCommerce.
Skills and experience:
*1-2 years experience in online customer service.
*1-2 years experience working in online retail, or traditional retail in the outdoor sports industry.
