Come join us for a great way to celebrate the start of fall, by joining this bicycle tour of Colorado’s Wine Country. The 25-mile ride through the vineyards of the Western Slope (on paved roads with a few hills) gives cyclists an opportunity to pass by the area’s wineries, as well as acres of fruit orchards. The event is located in the Grand Valley and is held prior to the Colorado Mountain Winefest “Festival in the Park” with over 50 of the state’s winery’s available for your tasting. Congratulations to our Women riders who make up over 60% of our participants!!!

2011 8th Annual Aspen Snowmass Ride for the Cure

The Aspen/Snowmass Ride for the Cure® is a fundraising event first, and a bike ride second. Registration includes a committment by each Rider to raise at least $500. We provide easy online fundraising tools, including your own personal donation page. Check our Fund-raising Tips for some handy tips. The earlier you start fund-raising the easier it is.

The money raised supports the Aspen Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure® and its promise to save lives and end breast cancer forever. Join the Ride and help provide hundreds of women, who might not otherwise be able to afford it, the opportunity for annual breast exams, low-cost or no-cost mammograms and diagnostic ultrasound screenings, as well as educational materials on the benefits of early detection.

Route begins at Snowmass Village, Colorado, through Aspen, Woody Creek and Old Snowmass.
In 2009, over 400 riders participated in the only century ride dedicated exclusively to fighting breast cancer. Riders are encouraged to choose their challenge and ride as far as possible whether it’s 100 miles or one mile.
Routes available: 100, 50, 30 and 10 miles —map
