Bike Jeffco News and May 14 Meeting Announcement

The recent community meeting for Deer Creek Canyon residents (and visitors) demonstrated in no uncertain terms the resentment many of the residents have for cyclists due, in large part, to the behavior of a minority of our brethren.

The complaints ranged from riding two or more abreast and blocking traffic, through stopping on the roadway, forcing motorized vehicles to make emergency maneuvers, to dropping trash and urinating on private property.

2010 BAR/BAT and Cross Cup Awards Parties

2010 BAR/BAT and Cross Cup Awards Parties THIS WEEK!

Both Senior/Master and Junior Awards Parties take place this week at the American Mountaineering Center, located at 710 10th Street in Golden. Friday evening from 6-9 is the Senior/Master Awards Party featuring pizza from Basil Docs and beer from Great Divide Brewing. Saturday afternoon the Juniors get their recognition from 1-4pm, also with support from Basil Docs.

We will also have 2009 awards and 2010 State Championship shirts to pick up, so please stop by to recognize our most successful athletes!
