Curve Custom Cycling Clothing

News Item:

There are quite a few custom cycling clothing companies in the Colorado Front Range. I had the chance to meet with the guys at Curve last week to talk about their custom clothing offering. Tucked away off North Broadway across from Amante the custom cycling cloth company focuses on custom, quality and flexibility when it comes to dealing with creating a great product.

From the Curve website:

At Curve, we only care about one thing: Performance. No gimmicks, no hype, no excuses. We don’t design our products based on market research, focus groups, sales projections, or pie charts. It’s deeper than that. We’re athletes. It’s what we do. It’s who we are. We design our products for ourselves, and we hope that our exacting standards will meet and exceed yours.

The Curve Proline Custom Cycling Clothing is the very finest custom team apparel available. The clothing is hand crafted in Italy, Proline Custom Clothing uses the same patterns, fabrics, and production line as the team clothing used by professional racing teams in international competition.

Curve Proline is unparalleled in it's quality, fit, and function.

A night with Retul and Boulder Junior Cycling

News Item:

Very inspiring evening with Retul and Boulder Junior Cycling last night in Boulder while George Thomas interviewed some of the members and their parents about their involvement with the sport. Their singular, innocent passion for cycling is very refreshing, especially in light of all the doping scandals in the professional ranks. Being in the same room as these junior riders is so refreshing and their passion is infectious, one rider is working hard to race in Europe after his senior year, two are completely psyched to ride to school tomorrow in the snow and all loved the training session they had in the rain today. While I might not have been looking at the next national champion, doesn't matter, this is how cycling should be, lets do what we can to help it grow. Thanks to sponsors like Retul for supporting junior cycling!

As Daylight Savings Time ends in two weeks and the days get shorter, the University of Colorado Police Department would like to encourage the campus community to use lights while riding bikes at night.

Riding in the dark without a light is both unsafe and illegal. Boulder law requires all cyclists traveling between sunset and sunrise to equip their bikes with both a mounted front white light and a rear red reflector. The fine for riding without proper lighting is $50.
