DailyCamera - Boulder judge binds over felony case against Patrick Ward in fatal Lyons crash

Patrick Ward, 69, will face one count of vehicular homicide while driving under the influence -- a Class 3 felony -- and vehicular homicide reckless driving -- a Class 4 felony, after Boulder County Judge David Archuleta ruled prosecutors had enough evidence to take both felony cases to Boulder District Court at Ward's preliminary hearing earlier this morning.

Chip & Seal returns to Boulder roads

News Item: 



CDOT sub-contractor A-1 Chipsealing will be chipsealing South St. Vrain Canyon (Hwy 7) from Lyons to the Peak to Peak Scenic Byway (Hwy 72). The work will begin on the Lyons end and continue Monday through Friday from June 3 to June 28th. Cyclists should be aware of periodic lane closures, delays and freshly chipsealed roadway.
