Helmet Law for all ages

Vancouver is attempting to require everyone who rides a bike to have a helmet... while I'm all for it I do believe it will have major problems and that is enforcement. It's hard enough to get cyclist to obey existing laws of the road and now you add another one.

NYTimes.com has an article on Portland making cyclist safer.

Check out this quote...
"While the city is installing the bike boxes at certain busy intersections, it is also trying to shift more riders away from bike lanes on busy streets to what it calls bike boulevards, quieter streets with less potential for collisions. The city is weighing a proposal to spend about $25 million over 10 years to designate 110 additional miles of bike boulevards, for a total of 140, and make other improvements for cyclists."

Let me convert your bike into a true single speed or fixie. Do you really even use all those stupid gears anyway? And just think how smart you will look flying through traffic on you "brand new" shitty old bike that has no brakes. SUPER ILL. You will be so hot when I am done with you. I do super cool chic rides too.
