Interview with cycling commentator Scott Moninger

Listen to internet radio with overthetop on Blog Talk Radio

Synopsis
After learning the correct pronunciation of "Moninger", we discuss Scott's roots in cycling, motivation to continue his winning ways, his goals and also who he considered his toughest competition. We then delve into retirement and how an athlete fills the void of no more competition. Scott explains the reasoning behind his amazing 90s hairstyle, differences between some of the teams with which he raced and we also spend a bit of time bashing Kansas terrain (it's his home state so he can good naturedly get away with this). Moninger discusses how he landed his role with NBC Sports as a Tour de France analyst and also talk about what he enjoys most about his role as a cycling coach.
