Are you following the adventures of Boulder cyclist, Ryan Van Duzer as he rides the west coast all the way to Cabo?
Why is Ryan doing this?
Ryan Van Duzer is pedaling his mountain bike 3,000 miles down the West Coast to raise money for Boulder's Community Cycles and to gather signatures for the "People for Bikes" campaign. He left Tuesday.
Van Duzer, 31, of Boulder, is a cycling advocate who has never had a driver's license. He spent last summer crossing the country on a three-speed cruiser, raising about $6,000 for Community Cycles.
He expects this year's trip -- from Vancouver, Canada, to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico -- to take six to eight weeks, and he'll be sending dispatches for the Camera along the way.
