Which class to take?

I'm not sure which class I should take, can't find a description of the classes. Basically I ride, race a few times, cat 3 and don't ride a fixed gear bike. Many years of riding though

A few of the racers that took the beginner class last week said they were glad they took it instead of the intermediate or advanced class because they had never ridden a track before. Some of the newbies took to it right away and didn't get much out the beginner class. It wouldn't hurt to start out in the beginner class, especially since you haven't ridden a fixed gear before.

I race cat 4, have ridden bikes forever, but never ridden a track. I took the Beginner Class and thought it was worthwile. However, I did only do about 12 or 15 total laps on the track. I am taking an intermediate class today and hope to get my "certification" as soon as possible.
For someone who is a strong rider, comfortable in a pack, has handling skills (this does not go hand in hand with strong rider) I think you could jump straight to the Intermediate Class.
If you do take a Beginner Class, the worst thing that happens is you do some remedial drills, and have safety and the intricacies of this track drilled into your head. In my opinion, not a big loss.
I am hooked and can't wait to get back on the track tonight.
Don't take more than 1 drop in class

Just finished my second drop in class and I wouldn't recommend taking more than one mainly because the first 20 minutes is spent re-teaching things already learned in your last class like the lanes, getting on a off of the track and riding edicate.
