B-cycle is a bike share program involving a network of stations and bikes across town that people can rent and return with only a swipe of a card and it’s our job to make sure the bikes are always ready to ride. We are looking for an organized and motivated mechanic to help take care of the bikes and kiosks and make sure they are distributed properly each day. You will need to learn the system and station locations as the public will often ask questions.

Job Description:
Assist in the repair and maintenance of a fleet of 150 bicycles
Recording of hours work, parts used and tasks completed
Driving a company vehicle to redistribute bicycle each morning
Checking functionality and condition of kiosks
Finding and fixing disabled bicycles
Being a positive voice for Boulder B-cycle and Trek Bicycle Store of Boulder
Station and bike inspection/repair is expected to be done by bicycle as much as possible

Requirements:
Must be a cycling advocate
Valid driver’s license
Strong communication skills, written and oral
Ability to interact with the public
Basic bicycle mechanic skills
Basic understanding of electronics
Self-motivated
Ability to lift 50+ lbs on a regular basis
Willing to work outdoors in a variety of conditions
Organized and can keep detailed records
Must be a problem solver

Pay rate is $9-12 an hour.
