There is a new article in the July issue of the local magazine 5280 about Taylor Phinney. I am getting excited about watching him race on the track in Beijing.

The Olympics is a time when Americans watch all sorts of new sports like curling, biathlon, ribbon twirling in gymnastics, ping pong, etc.

I hope you're right, but I'd bet dollars to doughnuts we'll only get sparse highlights of cycling. I'd really rather watch ping pong and badminton than gymnastics, so they get my vote too.
