Why would any local rider (i.e. Mara Abbot, Nico, etc.) drive all the way to Durango when they could have raced the Morgul Bismark course yesterday. The Iron Horse has been around a while and is not going any where. Who knows if the the Morgul Bismark course will be used again for another 10+ years.

Team commitments, race with national coverage, fits their racing style, tired of racing in and around Boulder, etc.

I agree with maybe it fits there racing style but a race with national coverage. Really? I think saying that the Iron Horse gets national coverage is a stretch. The only reason it gets coverage in Velonews is because its a Colorado event.
I agree with being tired with racing around Boulder but this is not an office park we are talking about or local hill climb.
