Construction on Bike Lanes along Hwy 36 starts

The Daily Camera is call this the Mother of all Cone Zones, the reconstruction of Hwy 36 kicks off this week and part of this project will include a bike lane that will run along Hwy 36.

The article is saying lane but I was told months ago it was a separate path. No where could I find a map that reflected this work. Maybe after the ceremony today some more information will be made public.

The US 36 Final Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) included the construction of an 18-mile long, 12-foot wide multi-purpose bikeway to run adjacent to US 36. This new bikeway will allow commuters to travel easily from Boulder to Westminster by bicycle or walking. The US 36 Bikeway will also connect seamlessly to existing bicycle facilities the corridor communities have proactively constructed over the years.
