Friday Fun -- Motorized Doping and More

A reader brought this to our attention. Here is a screen shot of the top 10 finishers from last Wednesdays Boulder Time Trial Series. Look at finisher #1 and #3. Electric assist? Is this a case of Fabian Cancellara motorized doping? Did anyone see these bikes? A little over 20 minutes on this course is fast!



Maybe this is the bike that Ryan Welsh and Kyle Hale rode just like Cancellara.

I saw the electric bikes.

I saw the electric bikes. They were both the same brand as far as I could tell, and looked a lot like a Trek Y-Frame mountain bike, but with much bigger tubing. The guys I saw riding them were wearing plain clothes. Imagine if they were wearing skin suits, and aero helmets using aero bars!
