Following two fatal accidents involving cyclists at a north Boulder intersection within three years, new striping and signage will soon be added to a stretch of 28th Street.
Colorado Department of Transportation officials on Friday confirmed plans to stripe a dedicated bike lane along the western edge of 28th Street between Broadway and Jay Road, thinning dedicated acceleration and deceleration lanes at several intersections to accommodate the new lane without widening the road.
