Join in on the top Colorado bicycle tour of 2010 - The Colorado Rocky Mountain Bicycle Tour, over classic mountain passes like Tennessee, Fremont, Loveland, Squaw as well as the opportunity to go to the top of Mount Evans and Trail Ridge Road. This August, you can join the third annual Colorado Rocky Mountain Bike Tour. Riding a true alpine loop, starting and ending in Edwards Colorado, the ride will travel through great Colorado towns such as Leadville, Frisco, Keystone, Idaho Springs, Golden, Estes Park, and Granby. The Colorado Rocky Mountain Bicycle Tour will cross 7 mountain passes ranging in altitude from 10,000 feet to over 14,000feet. It is 439 miles of challenging riding, beautiful scenery and loads of fun.

FEDERATION’S SCHLEP THE SLOPES SET FOR SUNDAY, AUGUST 8

(April 30, 2010)—The Allied Jewish Federation of Colorado’s Schlep the Slopes Bike Ride returns to the area on Sunday, August 8, 2010. Chairs for the ride are Zach Frisch, Doug Reznick, and Sherrie Somers. Schlep 2010 will offer three routes that will appeal to riders of various ages and levels of experience:
• 15-mile Family Ride
• 39-mile Trail Ride
• 100-mile Century Ride
All three routes will start at the Denver Botanic Gardens at Chatfield, just off Highway C-740 and South Wadsworth Boulevard. The Family Ride will take cyclists through Chatfield State Park, continue along the Platte River Trail, and then follow the bike paths that meander through the neighborhoods of Littleton.
The Trail Ride will begin along the Bear Creek Trail through Chatfield State Park, follow the Platte River Trail through Hudson Gardens, continue around Bear Creek Lake into Bear Creek State Park, and then follow the C-470 trail along the foothills towards the finish line at C-470 and South Kipling Street.

Course Description : Approximately a 1-mile figure eight course, bordered by 9th & 12th Avenues, Acoma & Delaware Streets. Start/Finish located at 10th & Bannock.

Parking & Warm-up : Plenty of on-street parking. No parking in the lot by registration. This is a commercial district; please avoid parking in places that may obstruct passage to businesses, their patrons, or any residents of the area. On-course warm up will be limited to 1 lap between events. Rollers or trainers are recommended.

Registration : Pre-registration is encouraged. Links to online registration at www.FrontRangersDenver.org or www.AmericanCycling.org Mail signed ACA standard release to: FRCC 5455 Landmark Pl #706, Greenwood Village, CO 80111. Make checks payable to FRONT RANGERS CYCLING CLUB. Entries postmarked after 8/01/2010 must add $8 late fee. Online registration closes 8/03/2010 at 10pm MDT. Second race fee is $15.

Race day registration: opens at 6am and closes 30 minutes prior to event. Pre-registered riders must check in at least 30 minutes prior to their event. Events will run Rain or Shine! Entry fee includes all ACA surcharges, but not individual membership. ACA rules require all racers to be members. One-day memberships will be sold for $10 on race day. Riders will be scored separately in the events that are combined. Prizes listed are for the field.

looking for a scenic bike ride, want to push yourself for a half century
plus, or looking to put your summer training to the ultimate test on a

circle beautiful Lake Dillon on paved bike paths and roads that take you
through some of our nation's most spectacular biking country. Century
riders climb some of the highest roads in Colorado, topping out at Arapahoe
Basin, Ute and Vail Passes. You get extra credit for forging on to the top
of Loveland Pass.

All rides start and finish on 3rd Ave between Frisco’s Main Street and
Granite.
Cost and Time Lines
$55 for adults registered on or before midnight, July 1, 2010.
$65 for adults registered between July 2 and midnight, Aug. 11, 2010.
$75 for adults registered August 12 through ride day, based on space

Your participation in the Raisin Hope Cycling Classic will provide funding for Craig Hospital’s patient assistance program through the Raisin Hope Project.

COURSE: The 1.7 mile CSP driving course is a paved semi-oval and completely self-contained. Spectators are welcome to bring a chair and watch the action.

REGISTRATION: Pre-registration is not available this year. All registrations on day of race. “Citizen” racers must purchase a one-day American Cycling Association (ACA) license for $10 and race in the SM4/SW4 race. Registration will close 15 minutes before the start of each event. All fees include ACA insurance surcharges. One-day licenses will be available at registration. One day licensees can compete in their respective master and junior category.

Are you tough enough?
We'll be the judge of that. The Breck Epic is a 6-day ultra-endurance mountain bike stage race held in the sprawling backcountry surrounding the Victorian mining town of Breckenridge, Colorado. After a 10-mile time-trial on day one athletes will contest 5 subsequent stages spending 4-8 hours on course each day, most of it over 10,000 feet. If the course were a person it would be dressed in black leather and brandishing something nasty, but it does have a tender side – proceeds from the inaugural “B.E.” benefit local open space initiatives and trail improvements. Hard-asses (or aspiring hard-asses) only please.

We've been asked over and over again how we'd describe our course "compared to The BC Bike Race or The Trans Rockies?" Our answer? Honestly, I don't know. If you want our take on it, head to "The Course" page - we've tried to honestly answer that question there.
