This is your traditional, classic cross course located at Bear Creek Lake Park – near Pelican Point. We will have a few new twists to the courses that RRV had the last couple of years.
Here are some of the other highlights for the day:
1. Newbies Class - We are having a newbies class - this is for those who have not ever raced cross and would like to try it out - or if you have raced one or two races, feel free to bring it in the Newbies class.
2. Tandems Class - Thats right, the only race in Colorado that will bring you up close with your buddy or kid - CX style! The tandem class will be going a minute after the Newbies in the morning. Just practice those dismounts for this one.
3. Masters vs Open Challenge - watch the 35+ masters as they bring it against the Open Men.
4. Kiddie Kross - That is right - Kiddie Kross on their own course is back for the under 8 crowd. Hopefully Sid the Snake Barrier will make his return for the event - He has not missed a Kiddie Kross yet.
5. Live Like Mike Turkey Time Trial Think you have game - well you can certainly win it in our Turkey Time Trial - which is Thanksgiving + Tractor Pull + Time Trial = the Live Like Mike TT. We will be accepting donations to go to the Live Like Mike fund t help support the family of the late Make Janelle.
On Saturday, November 21st, Bácaro will be hosting its monthly Bike Ride Lunch with special guest Jessica Phillips (2009 US time trial champion). The bike ride will be followed by a family style Italian meal for $25.00/person. The monthly bike ride lunches will also raise funds for Boulder Indoor Cycling. In the event of bad weather, the bike ride will take place at the Velodrome at Boulder’s Indoor Cycling with an hour of professional coaching.
