Lastly, words from local star, Tom Danielson on his drug use, from the Daily Camera

"Along the road to following my dream, I've had several ups and downs, but I stuck with it because I love the sport," Danielson said in the statement. "I never set out thinking I would cross a line. I set out simply wanting to compete, to race my bike and do what I love. And that is exactly what I did, clean.

"Then, after years of doing things the right way, I was presented with a choice that to me did not feel like a choice at all. In the environment that I was in, it felt like something I had to do in order to continue following my dream. I crossed the line and that is something I will always be sorry for. I accept responsibility for my choices and apologize to everyone in my life for them — in and out of the sport."

According to USADA's sanction:

"Disqualification of the competitive results obtained from March 1, 2005 through
September 23, 2006, including forfeiture of any medals, points and prizes"

Lookout: The lookout record is invalid (set Apr, 2006)

Evans: The evans record was set July, 2004. According to the timeline and his
affidavit, Tom was at the time riding for Fassa Bortolo and hadn't been introduced
to doping practices at that time.
"I worked with Dr. Ferrari after the 2004 season in preparing for 2005."

I'm sure someone can find out the rightful record holder at Lookout. I know
Howard Grotts put down a time in the mid 16s in the last two years, but I'll
have to look more to be sure.

What? Then end this $$$ sinkhole and lets implement a strategy that works. How much do we, in USADAs own opinion, WASTE on testing each year?
