DU wins Bronze level Bike Friendly award from LAB

The University of Denver (DU) was designated a BFU at the Bronze level by the LAB(League of American Bicyclists) on October 24, 2012 making it the second school in the State to be designated a BFU. Colorado State University was the first in Colorado to be acknowledged when it was awarded a Silver designation in 2011.

Ethan Crawford, co-chair of DU’s Transportation Committee, commented that the BFU application was submitted to help evaluate the Campus’s bicycle friendliness and enhance the safety and effectiveness of bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure for the DU community; “This award helps us understand what we’re doing right, and what we have yet to do to become a top-level Bicycle Friendly University.”
