Under record high temperatures cyclists, beer drinkings and those who just wanted a reason so dress up came out in support of the 6th annual Tour de Fat in Denver. This year the event raised $75,000 and according to the Denver Post the money will go towards improving bike safety in Denver.
"The event brings together local government officials and the biking community to raise $75,000 this year for a more bike-friendly Denver. Beer and souvenir proceeds benefited BikeDenver, a nonprofit organization that advocates bicycle safety.
