Shimano returns as top-line NAHBS sponsor

Louisville, Kentucky – Bicycle components maker Shimano, a long-time supporter of the North American Handmade Bicycle Show (NAHBS), returns this year as the presenting sponsor. The correct title of the 2013 show is the North American Handmade Bicycle Show Presented by Shimano.

The 2013 show sponsorship provides Shimano with a high-profile showcase for its latest products, with a pronounced emphasis on its Alfine pavement component line.

NAHBS founder and president, Don Walker, said, "Shimano is an old friend. The company has been a strong and consistent supporter of the handmade frame builders over the decades, and when we started NAHBS nine years ago they were quick to step forward as sponsors. Shimano has innovated and developed new, better, bicycle components more than any other company in the modern history of cycling, so it only makes sense for them to align themselves through NAHBS with the industry's most accomplished and innovative frame engineers.
