I attended the clinic and believe me, this group of ladies was not the only group assembling at the park for some sort of organized instruction. I witnessed at least three other groups - two consisting of adult participants "holding court". I cannot speak to the issue of permits so if Amy and the others were unknowingly in violation then this should be corrected going forward. I still must ask the question- "Why is it people around here always have to complain about something?"
Definitely give OSMP appreciation for this, but I know BMA did at least one fund raiser for this as well so they should get some credit on paying for it as well.

Ebikes are illegal on Boulder's multi-use paths, in public bike racks, and even parked on sidewalks! Only low-powered ones are allowed in bike lanes. We have a petition to
Boulder City Council to fix that: http://petitions.moveon.org/sign/legalize-ebikes-on-boulder We made a presentation to council on May 21 which was VERY well received. Councilman Ken Wilson said it was one of the best presentations he'd seen in his 6 years. Ebikes "level the playing field" for hills, wind, cargo, distance and age, injury or sedentariness.
