The Colorado High School Cycling League began in 2009 and is firmly established as one of only a handful of states to have an established league. In 2010, the season consisted of four races, including a state championship in The racer turnouts were over 140 for each of the races and the overall competition was good. There was a high number of JV and Freshman racers, which sheds some light into the future of the league. Lindsay Dye took the overall series in the Varsity Girls division and Skyler Trujillo took the Varsity Boys overall.
