Chip Sealing on Boulder County Roads begins this week

According to the Boulder County Roads & Transportation page, many chip sealing projects begin this week that affect popular cycling routes in Boulder County:

Transportation Maintenance Division to chip seal 18-miles of various county roads starting Monday, June 16
Motorists and Cyclists are encouraged to avoid the following roads on work days:

North 79th St. between Niwot Rd. and SH 52 - June 16 & June 24
Niwot Rd. between SH 119 and N. 95th St. - June 16 & June 24
North 75th St. between SH 66 and Woodland Rd. - June 17 & June 24
North 83rd St. between Woodland Rd and N. County Line Rd. - June 17 & June 25
North 87th St. between SH 66 and Woodland Rd. - June 18 & June 25
North 95th St. between SH 66 and Yellowstone Rd. - June 18 & June 25
Woodland Rd. between N. 75th St. and 95th St. - June 19 & June 26
North 115th St. between SH 66 and Yellowstone Rd. - June 19 & June 26
Vermillion Rd. between SH 287 and end of pavement - June 19 & June 26
