Bike Polo

I have never actually played bike polo but after seeing the turn out and interest in the Colorado Can Cup early this month in Lyons, CO I have been very curious. I was doing work this morning on my computer and saw the article I have been waiting for. Check out this article in Urban Velo which gives you everything you need to know. I just hope more bike polo events are put on so I can give it a try or just watch. Are there "pick-up" bike polo matches?

grass vs hardcourt

The tournament you are referring to was grass bike polo. The article you linked to is hardcourt bike polo as its played in Portland.
Completely different pursuits.

What about clay courts? Could you enlighten us on the differences? Bike Polo is so foreign to many.
