From Go Boulder
It's that time of year again when the days are getting shorter and having a bike equipped for night riding becomes necessary. To help community members with riding at night, GO Boulder/City of Boulder, the University of Colorado (CU) and local merchants have teamed up for the third annual "Lighten Up! Boulder" campaign.
The campaign highlights the importance of using a bike light for night cycling and encourages bike light use by providing discounts (10 - 30 percent) on bike light accessories at participating merchants. Coupons are valid through Friday, Nov. 11, 2011.
REMEMBER - Riding at night without proper lighting is ILLEGAL and UNSAFE. Cyclists can't see the road, and, more importantly, vehicles can't see cyclists!
