GO Boulder seeks volunteers for Second Annual Downtown Bicycle Count

100% taken from the boulder bike email list....

GO Boulder is looking for volunteers to help with our second annual downtown bicycle count. The purpose is to count all the bicycles parked in the downtown area for one hour on four different days and time periods. You will be asked to walk around 5-8 blocks (depending on the zone) and count the number of bicycles parked on each block face. Last year, almost counters took less the an hour to complete their zone. We will also record the number of type of racks available on each block as well.

We need a total of 8 volunteers for each day/time period:
Wednesday, July 30 from 6 to 7 p.m. (Meet at 5:45 p.m.)
Thursday, July 31 from 10 to 11 a.m. (Meet at 5:45 p.m.)
Friday, August 1 from 7 to 8 p.m. (Meet at 5:45 p.m.)
Saturday, August 2 from 11 a.m. to noon (Meet at 5:45 p.m.)
You will need to arrive in the plaza in front of the Municipal Building at the SW corner of Broadway and Canyon 15 minutes beforehand to receive instructions and the survey forms.

If you would like to volunteer or have any questions, please contact Chris Hagelin at hagelinc@bouldercolorado.gov or 303-441-1832. Chris will reply to your message on Monday, July 28.
