I've heard bike vs. car, or deer or tree but this is a first! The incident happened on Ole Stage road just north of town, lucky the cyclist was not seriously injured.

This not the first. 3-4 years ago, someone in the 5430 triatlon(?) when it use to go out and over Old Stage hit a bear after turning onto Lefthand. As I recall, they got up and finished the race.

i think it was Boulder Peak Triathlon. I can't imagine flying down that hill and getting sideswiped by a big black blur. freaky!
