A More Mature Taylor Phinney Prepares for the London Olympics

Taylor Phinney was admittedly a wide-eyed 18-year-old "kid" who soaked up every ounce of his first Olympic experience four years ago in Beijing.
"Probably the biggest distraction for me was having the U.S. women's gymnastic team staying above me," Phinney recalled with a laugh during a press conference Wednesday at Skratch Labs on Pearl Street.
A more mature and focused Phinney -- who turns 22 next week and is still the youngest member of the American men's road cycling team -- is gearing up for a whole new experience in London.
