Jelly Belly Riders to “ride the triangle” Friday morning as Vuelta warm up.
Public Welcome to Ride with the Pros
Salida, Colorado -- Team Jelly Belly riders Alex Hagman, Sergio Hernandez, Chris Kriek and Ricardo Van der Velde will host a warm up ride on Friday, August 17 at 10:00am for the Vuelta a Salida by riding the “Triangle”. The 20 mile mostly flat route will start and end at the Salida Safeway located at 232 G Street in Salida.
“This is a great opportunity for cycling enthusiasts and families to ride with some of the best pro cyclists in the world. The Jelly Belly professional cycling team is the longest continual racing pro team in the peloton after 14 years of racing. The team races all over the world, and just concluded a stage race in South Korea before traveling to Salida, Colorado,” said Rob Quinn event organizer.
This event is free and open to the public courtesy of Safeway, Monarch Mountain and The Mountain Mail. The Jelly Belly cycling team is dedicated to spreading a positive message to kids through public outreach.

The Triangle officially kicks off the Vuelta a Salida, a 50 and 100 mile timed or fondo style road event that takes place August 18th and starts and finishes in Salida, CO.
