Race Across America (RAAM) is billed as "The World's Toughest Bicycle Race" and, for the solo division, one could make a convincing argument that the 3,000 mile coast to coast non-stop event is just that. However while still a big challenge, for the RAAM relay divisions the race is actually fun. The Boulder based Race Across America is working hard to promote relay RAAM and was happy to have the CEO Challenges Team choose our city as the place it would hold its pre-race 420 mile training weekend. The loop course started and finished in Boulder on a route that included Colorado, Nebraska and Wyoming. CEOs from California and New Jersey took part and, though tired by the finish, had a great time. Aside from successfully completing the RAAM route the team's goals include raising $50,000 for the Challenged Athletes Foundation.
