After a few weeks on uncertainty, Boulder Colorado’s female cyclocross superstar, Nicole Duke, has found a home with Alchemy Bicycle Company. Alchemy a small handmade frame builder located in Denver, CO. worked out a deal with Duke helping her through the remainder of the 2012-13 cyclocross season. Duke has consistently finished in the top 10 of UCI Elite Woman’s field this season. Duke placed 3rd at Cyclocross Nationals last year and took the Master’s 35-39 National Title in 2010.

“We love Nicole. We were almost inexplicably drawn to her as a person, and bike racer. It was a shame to see her season almost come to a premature end.” Says Pete Smith, Alchemy’s Marketing and Brand Manager. “We just want her to do well, and have fun out there! When the opportunity came up to work with Nicole, we couldn’t pass it up.”

Duke has self admittedly had a difficult season and while she continues to work through some health issues, she’s ready to return to the starting grid and hopes to be back in top form in time for the UCI Cross After Dark weekend in Los Angeles.

Nicole will also receive continued support from dedicated sponsors SRAM, Zipp, Thule, Spy, Giro, Mad Alchemy, Primal Wear and Fascat Coaching.
