Epic Ride, Epic Fight

From Brad Knox, January 23rd, 2014
Hello 303Cycling, my name is Brad Knox. Having recently moved here from Tucson AZ, I am now a resident of Lakewood CO. I'm not sure if you are aware of Epic Rides and their annual 24hr race, The 24hrs in the Old Pueblo.* For the last 10 years, myself and a group of friends have done this race with multiple teams ranging from a solo to a 10 man corporate team.

This year there is an unfortunate twist with our duo team. One of our friends, Justin (also from Tucson, and also a participant on our yearly team), is seeking our help. HIs wife was recently diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer and is currently going through chemo in Tucson. My buddy Josh, (who had registered for the Duo team) has decided to auction off his spot in the sold out 24 Hours in the Old Pueblo, and donate all money earned from the auction to Justin and his wife Heather, to help with medical bills. So, like I said, I'm contacting you asking for help. Could you help spread the word? Any way that you could help would be greatly appreciated!

Again, thank you for your time
Brad Knox,
Lakewood, CO

*[Editor's note: We ARE familiar with Epic Rides and this race. WE LOVE the 24 Hrs of Old Pueblo. Thanks for contacting us with this. 303Cycling.com sends our best to Heather, Justin and their family. What a wonderful community we have as cyclists.]
