Colorado has some of the best roads and beautiful scenery in the USA for bike touring. Every year thousands from within the state and from all over come to participate in many of the various Colorado bike tours. Colorado is the cycling capital of North America with many cycling teams like Garmin making it as their head quarters. Plan your next cycling trip to Colorado and experience it like never before, on a bike! There are many bicycle tours in Colorado that vary in length and intensity. So start today and plan your next trip to Colorado with bicycle tours in mind!

Single Day Multiple Days
  • Buena Vista Bike Festival May 15th Registration

    The beautiful century route goes North to Leadville, along the scenic rolling hills of Turquoise Lake Road, around the Mineral Belt Trail passing aspen groves and conifer forests, meandering through the historic Leadville Mining District, and back to Buena Vista in the shadows of Colorado’s highest mountain peaks. Nearly all of the climbing is completed over the first 60 miles of the ride, with the last 40 miles essentially downhill to flat! Riders also have options to take shorter routes including a 35 miler, a 50 miler, and a “metric century” (62 miles) while still enjoying the Collegiate Peaks’ magnificent scenery.

  • Triple Bypass July 10 Registration FULL Route

    This is the single day equvilant of the Ride the Rockies for it is the Grand Daddy of single day Colorado bike tours. This one day event starts in Evergreen and finishes in Avon covering 3 passes, Squaw (11,140 ft.), Loveland (11,990 ft.) and Vail (10,560 ft.). This event fills up within HOURS of registration opening.

  • Elephant Rock Ride June 6 Registration Route

    This beautiful 1 day event is takes place not in the rising Rockie Mountains but in the pleasant rolling hills of the Foothills between Denver and Colorado Springs. As typical of many single day tours there are different distances you can choose, from 7 miles to 100.

  • Denver Century Ride June 20 Registration Route

    Whether you are a cyclist or you have friends and family that enjoy cycling we are proud to introduce the brand new, one of a kind, Denver Century Bike Ride on June 20, 2010 at INVESCO Field in Denver, Colorado. This is Colorado’s newest cycling experience featuring a Family Ride FUN Ride at 22 miles, an EXHILARATING Metric Century at 62 miles and a CHALLENGING Century route at 100 miles.

  • Boulder Sunrise Century July 24 Registration

    A challenging route from Boulder, thru Lyons & over the Peak to Peak Hwy, carving up several canyons with epic descents. One of the most unique routes in Colorado. All registrations include full event support, post-ride meal & a donation to our beneficiaries - groups you'd be proud to support!

  • Hell of the Wolf April 18th Registration Route

    “For the fit cyclist the H.O.W.L. does not present itself as a particularly challenging ride. That has never been its intention but rather a ride to do with friends. We have lots of exciting changes for 2010. The foremost will be many more riders! Because of this we’ve had to make some route changes but we also have much more support in terms of rider safety. We will have police marshalling the intersections so we can ride interrupted through town as we do the “town loop” through Castle Rock.

  • Copper Triangle August 7 Registration Route

    Single day event that not only covers many beautiful passes of Colorado it also is a great alternative to the filled up Triple Bypass. When to participate in this ride you not do yourself good by full filling a possible new years resolution to complete a major bike tour you also help a great cause, the Davis Phinney Foundation

  • SPAN the Rockies August 15 Registration

    SPAN the Rockies features three routes, including the only fully supported double metric century bike tour in Colorado. This exhilarating tour will climb from Boulder to Ward and along Peak to Peak Highway to Estes Park before returning to Boulder via Lyons, covering 125 miles and 9000+ feet of climbing. We also offer a 130K (85 miles) route that skips the trek to Estes Park and features 5500 feet of climbing. Or, skip the climbing altogether and ride the 75K (45 miles) tour of the foothills.

  • Stonewall Century August 21 Registration

    The Stonewall Century is a challenging road bike ride along one of Colorado's most beautiful scenic highways. We welcome you to come and enjoy some of the best road riding in Southern Colorado. 102 total miles,(or whatever you like), 8000 ft elevation gain Ride begins/ends in Town Park, La Veta, Colorado

  • Blue River Century August 22 Registration

    The Blue River Century and Metric Century benefits the Lance Armstrong Foundation in scenic Summit County, CO.

    Sunday, August 22, 2010 - Following is the Blues and Arts Festival in River Run Village! www.bluerivercentury.com
    One main route and at the final aid station of the Century, you have a choice of 3 finishes.

    1. Loveland Pass Challenge - 109.48 miles with 8600 feet of elevation gain.
    2. A-Basin Finish - 103.26 miles with 7339 feet of elevation gain.
    3. Montezuma Finish - 101.42 miles with 6200 feet of elevation gain.

    Metric Century - 63 miles with 3350 feet of elevation gain.

  • Ride the Rockies June TBD registration

    The Grand Daddy of Colorado bike tours, this is the one that started them all, so popular that there is a lottery each year with many already planning alternative tours in the event they don't get selected.

  • Bicycle Tour of Colorado June 20-26 Registration Route

    Experience this wonderful 7 day, fully supported tour covering much of the beauty of Colorado starting and ending in Gunnison Colorado

  • Courage Classic August 7-9 Registration Route

    If a week is too much and 1 day tour is too short then check out this mountainous 3 day tour covering passes and typical beautiful colorado road and supporting a good cause along the way.
