The inaugural Riverside Rampage mountain bike race is set for May 20-22 in Salida, Colo. Two days of racing with three different stages are planned for the weekend. Registration and packet pick-up will be at the Boathouse Cantina located at 228 north “F” Street in historic downtown Salida, Colo.

The weekend’s events include a two-mile hill climb time trial up Tenderfoot Mountain (a.k.a. “S” Mountain) Saturday morning. Afterward we’ll be racing short track on Tenderfoot Mountain. Sunday will be the cross-country race on the Arkansas Valley Hill Trails on and behind Tenderfoot Mountain.

2011 Denver Fat Tire Festival

Welcome to the 4th Annual Denver Fat Tire Festival!
This event is all about having fun on two wheels, so come on out to Bear Creek Lake Park and enjoy two days of championship racing, recreational rides around the Park, free kids race, industry expo, wacky bike games, a costume night ride, food, camping, and more. There is exciting racing going on throughout the weekend with Front Range 60 racers tearing it up on Saturday, and Battle the Bear competitors racing on Sunday.

Bear Creek Lake Park 15600 W. Morrison Road: 303.697.6159. Take C-470 to Morrison Rd exit, east to park entrance on south side of Morrison Rd. Proceed east inside park to Coyote Crossing.

Event Highlights:
May 7th & 8th, 2011. Come out and enjoy everything about being on two wheels! Exciting racing in Battle the Bear or Front Range 60, Camping, Free Kids Race, Industry Expo, Recreational Rides, wacky bike games, costume night ride, food and refreshments. There will be industry exposition tents with product sampling, games and raffles going on. Bring your cowbells or noise-makers and see what Front Range racing is all about! Kick off the mountain bike season in Colorado by bringing the family and kids out to this annual spring ritual of off-road fun. Register Saturday morning at the Park for the group rides, games, costume ride, or any of the other activities.

7th Annual New Belgium Brewing “18 Hrs of Fruita” presented by US Bank

Kickoff the mountain bike season with COLORADO's only 18 Hr Team Mountain bike race- 12 Midnight start at Highline Lake State Park. Event is capped at 100 teams.

Boulder's Colin Cares takes first in Hundo

Colin Cares, 23, of Boulder, came in first place in the Bailey Hundo, the 100-mile bike race held Saturday in the Bailey area, with a time of 6:42:47.

Bryan Alders came in second place with a time of 7:01:36. Colby Pearce came in third with a time of 7:05:14.
