2013 - Pinnacle Race Series

A regional recreational racing series created in 1998 by Crested Butte Mountain Resort (CBMR). The popular race series is geared for fun and competition, from beginner to expert riders. Now featuring cross-country and downhill races every week. The cross country races consist of varying lengths and difficulty to challenge riders of all abilities on the Evolution Bike Park’s network of trails and quality single-track. The gravity races will take place on a different trail every week and the series will culminate with a tag team event on August 7.

2013 - Gravity Slave Chainless Downhill Race

Coinciding with the Fall Festival of Beers & Chili Cook-Off weekend is the Gravity Slave Chainless Downhill mountain bike race; a chainless downhill stage race, that features three runs on three different courses in the Evolution Bike Park. The lowest cumulative time wins with no chains and only gravity as your friend. Now in its third year, the Gravity Slave is a great addition to the food and beer at the Fall Festival, for spectators and riders alike. September 7th and 8th 2013

2013 - Crested Butte Bike Week

Welcome to the oldest mountain bike festival in the world! This is where a rider can experience the birthplace of Mountain Biking and ride miles and miles of single track. For over 30 years, Crested Butte has been host to the longest running bike festival in the country with its Crested Butte Bike Week. This family friendly celebration attracts riders of all levels with every type of bike looking to explore the best of what Crested Butte has to offer.

2013 - Trax-n-Trails

Help support the National Sports Center for the Disabled (NSCD) by taking part in Trax-n-Trails, June 22, 2013, at Winter Park Resort! Cross country mountain bike enthusiasts of all ability levels have an opportunity to challenge themselves in the Competitive Race, or opt for a more leisurely route in the Recreational Ride on the amazing trails at Winter Park Resort and Trestle Bike Park. Registration includes race entry, t-shirt, lunch, drink and Full Day Trestle Bike Park Ticket.

2013 - Mix & Mingle Bike Rides

As part of Boulder’s Walk & Bike Month, join summer for bike rides the first Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. Riders will park in Lyons and ride up Apple Valley Rd. to the Antelope side of Hall Ranch near the Nelson Loop. Dinner at Oskar Blues will follow. The rides will be geared toward intermediate cyclists and take place on different trails all summer long. This is a great opportunity to meet other riders, especially for people new to the area.
