Since 1992, Primal Wear has been dedicated to providing cyclists with highly technical clothing that looks great and performs perfectly. At our heart, we are cyclists, business people and artists who have found a way to combine our talents to produce some of the most recognizable jerseys in the world.

    Location: Denver, Colorado

    Title: Design Artist

    Reports To: Creative Manager

    • 2-5+ years experience in Graphic Design
    • Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop
    • Proficient in Mac OS
    • Experience applying design and color theory
    • A strong understanding of the print production process
    • Experience preparing and sending files to print
    • Proficient and strong vector art skills.
    • Outdoor and Cycling apparel, footwear or equipment brand experience a plus
    • Passion and familiarity with cycling a plus

    Responsibilities and Requirements:
    • Bachelor’s degree in related field
    • Work closely in a team with Artists and multiple Account Managers
    • Lead the creation of designs needed for team and event apparel
    • Lead the creation of Primal original designs that are on brand and incorporate current trends in cycling and outdoor fashion
    • Must be able to understand clients and Account Managers’ needs and articulate ideas into designs
    • Strong communication and organization skills
    • A positive and friendly attitude
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
    • Ability and willingness to work extended hours, when necessary, to achieve goals
    • Views tight deadlines as a challenge and is calm under pressure
    • Detail oriented and accountable for projects from start to finish
    • Interest in working in a fun environment with a “work hard, play hard” philosophy
    • A dedication to being a force for good in the world
    • Takes initiative
    • Accepts constructive criticism and views it as a motivator to improve
    • Ability to work at a computer 95% of the day
    • Ability to distinguish color
