    We’re looking for someone who is a writer first, but one who is adept at both wrenching and riding. Key requirements are a nose for stories and the ability to tell them, but a deep understanding of cycling technology—across all disciplines, with a particular emphasis on road—is vital.

    The full-time position is responsible for tech content on and in Velo magazine. It includes the opportunity for extensive domestic and international travel.

    - Produce editorial coverage online and in print
    - Develop and maintain industry relationships
    - Deliver well-written copy as directed by the editor and other staff
    - Cover racing technology on-site, delivering copy and high-quality photos in a timely fashion
    - Source and organize product for review
    - Source original stories and content for and Velo magazine
    - Conduct interviews
    - Manage a positive social media brand
    - Attend tradeshows
    - Research and write long-form features

    Skills and qualifications:
    - Strong editorial and writing skills
    - Strong digital photography skills, including editing
    - Strong mechanical background, with a deep understanding of bicycle technology
    - Media experience
    - Excellent communication
    - Knowledge of French, Spanish, or Italian a plus
