BikeDenver is seeking a full-time Community Engagement Manager (CEM). The CEM supports organizational efforts to create and operate programs and events to fundraise, and engage and educate the public about the benefits of safe bicycling. The position is focused on developing and implementing our new Ride on Auraria program to reduce single occupancy vehicles on the Auraria campus through a marketing and education campaign as well as events, mentoring, mechanical skills training, and a Commuter Challenge. The position is also focused on managing internal BikeDenver office functions such as communication with internal and external stakeholders, as well as planning and executing several large-scale partnership fundraising events.
The full-time CEM will report to and work directly with the Executive Director. The annual salary is $35,000-$40,000, plus benefits.
The Community Engagement Manager coordinates BikeDenver’s Ride on Auraria program, communications, large events and volunteers. The CEM must have the ability to interact with BikeDenver staff, members, volunteers, sponsors, partners, community event organizers, and the general public in a dynamic environment, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high degree of professionalism. The ability to prioritize and manage multiple commitments and tasks and follow through in a timely fashion is critical.
