SOSSOCKS is seeking an Inside Sales Person who will be responsible for our core range and custom sock sales to bike, running and other outdoor shops, clubs, teams, and events in certain geographic markets of the US. This person will be responsible for retaining prior and current business, as well as, continually prospecting, finding and landing new business. We are looking for a charismatic, outgoing and motivated individual who is driven to succeed. Sales will be made via phone, email, and meetings in the respective territories, cycling expos and events, bike races and other industry events that SOSSOCKS has a presence. This is an inside sales position with some travel required.
* Fantastic speaking and phone skills
* Professional and prompt communication through email
* Organization in all aspects of the job
* Ability to work both individually as well as closely with a team member
* Confidence to cold call prospective customers
* Motivation to find and land new accounts
* Ability to network and meet new people regularly
* Availability for occasional travel, both during the week and on weekends
* Familiarity with cycling and/or running (participatory or industry experience)
