Boulder Chef Prepares Gluten Free Meals for Garmin-Barracuda Team

As a chef, Barb Grealish's specialty is Mexican fare. But the guys among the international cadre of professional cyclists she cooks for don't always know how to eat what she's making.

"Last year at the Tour of California, I got to teach Thor Hushovd and Johan Vansummeren how to make a taco," she said. The Norwegian and the Belgian racers weren't the only ones flummoxed by Grealish's fare -- another night during the week-long bike race, some of the guys "taught" those who'd never eaten an artichoke to gnaw on more than the plant's fleshy parts.

"I think there are a lot of pranks going on on the bus," she said with a grin.
