2016 PRIMAL COLORADO BIKE EXPO MOVING TO SPORTS AUTHORITY FIELD
Colorado’s largest consumer bike show welcomes people from all bikes of life

Denver, Co (February 25, 2016) – Colorado’s largest consumer bike show, the Primal Colorado Bike Expo will be expanded and improved for 2016 as it moves to a new outdoor venue at Sports Authority Field on Friday, May 13th and Saturday, May 14th.

In its second year, the Primal Colorado Bike Expo will be held in conjunction with the Kaiser Permanente Colfax Marathon Health + Wellness Expo going on simultaneously which will attract over 30,000 athletes to Sports Authority Field during those two days.

The 2016 Bike Expo will be free and open to the general public, held in parking lot J, just West of the stadium and feature over 100 bike exhibitors throughout Colorado presenting the latest in bikes, gear, nutrition and lifestyle offerings for the biking and triathlon communities.

Last year, the Primal Colorado Bike Expo was held at the Colorado Convention Center and attracted over 110 exhibitors including Primal, SRAM, Bianchi and Skratch Labs.

Billed as the official kickoff to the cycling season, this celebration of bikes and community will provide recreational riders, cycling enthusiasts, roadies, mountain bikers and athletes the opportunity to learn about the latest products, consumer trends, organized rides, competitive races, clubs, teams, advocacy groups and cycling destinations.

New for 2016 will be live music, a beer garden, expanded kids zone and a demo and test area for riders of all ages and abilities.

“We are extremely excited about the ‘new and improved’ version of the Primal Colorado Bike Expo and believe the two-day format and outdoor venue will provide an exciting opportunity to make the event more accessible to all bike enthusiasts,” commented Dave Edwards, President of Primal Wear.

Hours for the two-day event will be 12 noon to 7 pm on Friday, May 13th and 9 am – 6 pm on Saturday, May 14th. Parking is available in lots C and D, on the West side of the stadium accessible from Federal Blvd. Bike valet parking will be provided by Wish for Wheels adjacent to the Bike Expo.
