Bicycle Colorado is hosting its fourth-annual Colorado Bicycle Summit on Feb. 10-11 in downtown Denver. If you’re interested in seeing better bicycling in your community and across Colorado, plan to attend.
This year’s keynote speaker is Andy Clarke, president of the League of American Bicyclists in Washington, DC. The League is the national voice representing bicyclists in the movement to create safer roads, stronger communities, and a bicycle-friendly America. The League runs the Bicycle Friendly America program, which honors bicycle-friendly states, cities, universities and businesses across the country.
Governor John Hickenlooper is also scheduled to present at this year’s summit. Governor Hickenlooper will share his enthusiasm for bicycling and his intent to continue to improve bicycling in our state.
John Ricks of the Colorado Tourism Office will also present at the plenary session of the summit, emphasizing the importance of bicycling to the Colorado economy.
The Colorado Bicycle Summit also includes focused breakout sessions, happy hour, networking, legislative training and the opportunity to meet your state elected officials. Learn more about how the Colorado Bike Summit will help change the face of cycling in Colorado.
