Primalpalooza Cyclocross Race

Primalpalooza. The name is crazy, but our commitment to the community is serious.
Primalpalooza, one the calendar's most popular 'cross races, is proud to announce that it's yet again throwing its support behind two of the community's most vital nonprofits. When you come out this year to race, you'll be helping to support Trips For Kids, which puts more at-risk and disadvantage kids on bikes, and Open Heart Colorado, which helps flood victims get their lives back together. Think about that while you're in-between beer hand-ups, a food truck run, a Strider race, a massage and picking the dirt out of your teeth.
Racing 'cross hurts like hell. But at least now you can feel good doing it. For more, visit
We already have some great items for the silent auction so come on out and help us rais some money for these great non-profits.

We went out of way to secure

We went out of way to secure sponsorship money to compile the prize list for all categories. Our sponsors Primal Wear, McDonald Audi and Nationwide Insurance value women’s racing and they share our commitment to an equal payout. We not only have the highest pro payout of any race (other than the two UCI events in Colorado) we have cash in every category, $3500 in total.
Our main focus is to put on a top quality race at the best venues and raise money for Colorado Flood victims and Trips for Kids. We already have $3000 in products in the last two days for our silent auction not to mention our podium prizes that run 7 deep and include the use of Audi automobiles.
Our team is committed to racing at the top levels and to the community. That is why this year our team won the best overall team in all racing categories (P-1-2, 3 and 4), 2 national championships, 4 state championships, over 100 podiums and raised over $20,000 raised for charity before we add in Primalpalooza. We are looking forward to having everyone out for a great time and a brand new course at Primalpalooza this year.

Primalpalooza Sunday

Just a reminder that Primalpalooza is at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds (new venue). It looks like the weather is going to be great with sun and temperatures in the low 70’s.

This is a great course for a great cause Open Heart Colorado (Brandon Dwight’s charity for Boulder flood victims and Trips for Kids) we are raising money two ways.
1. We have a beer garden with beer from New Belgium and local microbreweries.
2. We have a silent auction with $4000 in items from: Sea Sucker, Stages, Lucky Bikes, The Salon Forum, Optimize Endurance, Maggiano’s Little Italy, Primal, Mad Greens, The Sufferfest, Feedback, Big Choice Brewing and others.

We have $2600 for the pro field and cash in every other field besides juniors ($3500 in total) and have prizes 7 deep. Some of these prizes are great like the use of an Audi vehicle from McDonald Audi.

We have a play area and strider bike races all day long for the kids and great food items.

Primal put on an excellent event this year. Great course, great organization, great day overall. Thanks to all who made it happen. Put it on your calendar for next year as a do-not miss, and be sure to throw some Stan's in your wheels when you do.

Chapeau from RMRC.
