2013 - Colorado Courage Classic Opportunities To Support Remain

DENVER—June 21, 2013—Cyclists participating in the Children’s Hospital Colorado’s signature event, Courage Classic, will start pedaling throughout Summit County in one month, July 20–22. In its 24th year, the 155-mile fundraising tour depends on the generous support of donors, sponsors and volunteers for its success, and we encourage your readers to get involved.

The Courage Classic funds go directly to meeting hospital needs such as purchasing new medical equipment, supporting new child health research and evolving the Hospital Sports Program for kids with disabilities. Donors can see their dollars at work through Courage Classic teams like Team Courage, which is comprised largely of former and current Children’s Colorado patients beating the odds.

Since its inception in 1989, and thanks to thousands of participants and supporters, the Courage Classic has raised more than $28 million for Children’s Colorado. In 2012 alone, the Courage Classic raised more than $2 million. These funds support Children’s Colorado in a variety of ways, impacting the lives of thousands of kids and their families each year.
