The Role: Service Manager
As the Boulder Cycle Sport Service Manager, you oversee all things related to the service of bicycles, related components, and accessories, while supervising and participating in the day-to-day activities of our mechanics. You are a store manager and the driving force of the Boulder Cycle Sport service team. You work with our Owners and Lead Salespeople to lead the store on a day-to-day basis. You are a skilled and experienced service professional with the management skills to lead a team and work with our Owners to set, pursue, and achieve big goals. You maintain a keen eye for detail and are invested in the wellbeing of service employees, while looking for ways to improve processes, increase productivity, and grow the business. With your exceptional customer service skills, you relish opportunities to establish and strengthen relationships with Boulder Cycle Sport clientele. You are also adept at working the retail sales floor as needed to assist customers and support your fellow team members.
• Five years bicycle service experience
• Extensive knowledge of current road and mountain bike technology
• Superb customer service skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment
• Ability to work weekend days
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and point-of-sale systems
• Retail sales experience
• Previous Service Manager experience
