Do you want see some athletes from the USA Pro Challenge up close before the race even starts? Do you want to have good time while supporting local junior development programs? If either of these is true then you need to check out Punk Rock Rollerfest on Wednesday, August 15th at the Boulder Theater. It will be a fantastic evening featuring Pro Challenge racers on the stage competing in Colorado Wielersport’s 4 man roller races. If you want to roll in the big leagues there is a VIP dinner with the riders before the main event prepared by Skratch Labs Biju Thomas (co-author of the Feedzone Cookbook). For the main event, you will also find a great silent auction, cheap pints of Great Divide, and one heck of fun time. Several spots in the roller race brackets will be auctioned off to the highest bidder. If you’re feeling bold you can put some money on your favorite rider starting in the semi-finals.
Riders currently scheduled to appear include Olympians Timmy Duggan, Taylor Phinney, and USA Pro Challenge Riders Rory Sutherland, Ted King, Kiel Reijnen, Peter Stetina, Alex Howes, Lucas Euser, and many more.
Tickets are only $15 are available at the door. Clearly this is going to be a very special evening that Colorado cycling fans will not want to miss!!
