Bicycle Colorado - Colorado Gives Day
Submitted by David on
Bicycle Colorado, the statewide advocacy group working to improve bicycling across the state, will be participating in Colorado Gives Day next Tues., Dec. 4. Colorado Gives Day is a joint effort of the Community First Foundation and FirstBank and aims to inspire Coloradoans to support local nonprofits across 24 hours—to “give where you live.” Last year the event raised $12.8 million for 928 charities. As fellow cyclists who’d like to see Colorado continue to be a better place to ride, we encourage you to consider a donation to Bicycle Colorado next Tuesday. You can even schedule your donation in advance. Click here to donate and spread the word!

There are a number of great nonprofit cycling organizations to donate to:
BikeDenver: https://www.givingfirst.org/BikeDenver/overview
Bicycle Racing Association of Colorado (the ACA) https://www.givingfirst.org/coloradocycling/overview
Boulder B-Cycle: https://www.givingfirst.org/BoulderB-cycle/overview
Kids on Bikes: https://www.givingfirst.org/kidsonbikescs/overview
The Bike Depot: https://www.givingfirst.org/thebikedepot/overview
Denver Bike Sharing: https://www.givingfirst.org/denverbikesharing/overview
Project Re-Cycle: https://www.givingfirst.org/3TMinistry/overview
Trips for Kids: https://www.givingfirst.org/tfkd/overview
So, on December 4th (or right now - since you can schedule your gift) make a donation to the organization where you live, where you bike. It will make a difference!

I love it when others do our job and do it better than we do. Anybody else have Colorado organizations in cycling that are excepting donations this Tuesday?
