Thanks, Adrenalin & DBC Events for a great race today. Probably, the most challenging course we have had this year. Lot's of variety from grass to sand to lumpy bumpy to pavement. Nice to have barriers that many of us could bunny hop as well as the usual barriers.
Results were posted immediately at the race site and online within 2 hours of our rce completion. Get out! That sets the bar pretty high for other races!
agreed! Great race and course. Perfect mix of grass, fast dirt, and challenging bumps. It was a hard course, but fun. Thought the turnout would be bigger but i assume it will keep growing based on the feedback.

Many thanks to the crew from the bike shop who put this great race on. Please forgive me if I leave anyone out in advance
Sean,Matt,Steve,Jobie,Jerry, and everyone else who pitched in. This race had a great vibe and atmosphere. If that was a bronze race for ACA I can't wait to see a Silver race as good !
Nice course at a great venue. That said: My age group (55+) dictates I arrive early. Nothing at registration was set up as is so typical for almost any early bike race. No pens, no reg. forms, no computer. 1 table. So us old guys and the SW4, stood in the early morning light. Cold and grumbling. We could not warm up, get to the pit, dress for the race lest we lose are place in the line. Prereg folks had no benefit as they had to stand in the same line (therefore what is the benefit of prereg'g in the first place?). $30 entry+$5 late+2 licenses+$10chip fee. Its ridiculous. I know: I don't have to race. BUT: I want to and do so every weekend. How can anyone justify a 'late fee', especially at a cross race, when we just end up waiting in a 45 minute line. TWO(2) licenses to race 1 bike on a dirt field (OK:this course was grass..) and a timing chip? Bib numbers have worked just fine for decades and do not cost $10 "to rent". Yeah - I know I can buy one.. Thats still not the point. Its such a beautifully simple sport: the first guy across the line WINS. ...A $10 timing chip?
